Graduate Rowing Assistant
King's Ely Boat Club is looking to recruit an ambitious
and confident graduate for the role of Graduate
Rowing Assistant. The successful applicant will be fully
engaged in all levels of rowing at King's Ely and report
directly to the Head of Rowing.
The Graduate Assistant will be responsible for
developing King's Ely Junior School rowers, with an
emphasis on providing an interesting and
comprehensive introduction to the sport. Additional
duties will include the delivery of training sessions to
King's Ely Boat Club Senior School Development
Squads, supporting the Head of Rowing at race venues
when required and providing assistance to existing
squad coaches. Applicants should hold or be working
towards their UKCC Level 2 Qualification in Coaching
Rowing. Knowledge of boat repair techniques is
preferable but not essential.
