Like everyone else we were so impressed by the HRR drone video coverage that now we are considering purchasing one or more 'Lilly' automatic video drones, which would be available for clubs (initially in Henley, Oxford then Tideway areas and possibly further afield) to hire by the day at a very reasonable cost (probably in the order of £10 a day). They take great video and require no operator, automatically following your boat either from behind or leading it in front or from the side. We would love to hear from anyone who might be interested in this idea, without any commitment, before cwe go ahead. Larger clubs would probably consider buying one outright for their own use but might still like to rent one for a few days first to ensure it can do what it promises.
