St Pauls School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic rowing coach for a full-time position. 2015 was a very successful year for St Paul's School boat club and we are looking to build on that in 2016. The successful candidate will join the experienced coaching team and is expected to primarily play a major part in coaching the J15 year group within the school boat club. They will be expected to safely and effectively coach rowing fundamentals, and prepare crews for major races, including but not limited to Schools Head of the River and National Schools. Additionally they should expect to be involved in administration and running of the club and boathouse.
This is an ideal coaching role for an experienced oarsman or women looking to move into coaching; however there are also opportunities within the club for candidates with greater experience. Depending on the candidate the post can either be permanent or for one year in the first instance. The start time for the appointment is flexible, though no later than Jan 2016.
For further information about this role and details of how to apply please contact Tom Killick, President of the Boat Club at TNRK@stpaulsschool.org.uk.
