##### LATEST: Second almost identical boat but slightly smaller (75 to 80kg?) now available. Buy two at a discount. His and Hers? Parent and Child ? Test sculled on 08/08: Boat coped well with my 95kgs and typical Thames cruiser wash ###### Open top sculling boat built by Dick Griffin for Winchester College in the 1970s. Now fully restored and fitted with modern equipment and rigging. Slightly shorter and wider than a normal sculling boat at 660cm x 45cm so more manoeuvrable and a touch more stable. Estimated sculler weight 85kg. Fitted with new riggers and gates, bow ball, stretcher, shoes, runners and seat fittings but retaining as much of the original boat as possible. Hull is a classic tear drop shape and in really good condition apart from one small repair near the bow. Being open topped not really suitable for the Tideway or other open water! (though could be fitted with buoyancy bags) Ideal for recreational or fitness use, the longer runners and wider riggers allow it to be sculled at 100% while still retaining that classic wooden boat look. For sale at £1,200 Has to be seen to be appreciated.
